Hi everyone, as some of you have heard, Hilary and I have relocated to Steamboat Springs. We have purchased some property here and are planning to build a house on it next spring! Both of us are really excited about the move and Hilarys new job.
Training has been going really well, my shoulder feels great and I have gotten off to a good start on the jumping hill. As Bill said, I have been doing a bit of bike racing this summer, it was the easiest way to get in training with my shoulder, and I've really enjoyed it. Other then that not much is going on, looking forward to jumping in Park City in a few weeks and heading to the Summer Grand Prixs.
I think that everyone in the US Nordic Combined world owes Bill a round of applause, he did a great job with the junior camp that he ran in Steamboat. If you have not heard about it, Bill felt that more could be done for the young guys coming up in the sport, and he took it upon himeself to bring everyone together to learn about training and to start working as a Team. From talking to the guys that particapated, they learned a lot and look forward to more in the future.
Anyway, that is all from me, hope everyone is doing well, and try to tell others about this site. Hopefully it will be a good way to keep everyone updated in our little world.
